Yea!! We've finally completed our Lit project. Then again, not really. We still need to make it"shiny". Haha..it was really exhausting. Anyway, let me start with the day. I woke up at 7am to get myself ready for church yesterday. Rush, rush. Rush. Then at church, we were questioned about the service areas and stuff. Gosh, give me a break. Personally, I don't mind any service areas because I've got a clue where they might just put me in already. But nevermind, we'll just see how things unfold.Ok, then starryduck, mrs edison, sickducky and blurduck started arriving from 1.40pm onwards. (I think I've learnt my lesson, I'll set the time 1 hour earlier the next time for any meetings and expect people to arrive only 1/2 an hour later. Don't you guys know what LATE is?..haha) Great! So we mugged over the project from anout 2pm all the way till 9pm. Haha...I think I was quite fierce right? Sorry, really wanted to finish as much as possible. Man, I'm totally beat la...had my dinner only at 9pm when everthing cleared up. And today, mo-mo-ren made me mad with her clear ungratfulness and pure stupidity. I don't know, but I think the lit project took up loads of time. I even CUT my finger this morning to get the counters done.
Actually, it's ok (for me) to put in so much effort to get things done as long as we had fun (which we did...haha..right? Ya, thanks laurel for pulling my hairband out so many times) Anyway, back to the ungrateful person. Well, I've never liked to be used by people I don't like in the first place. So stop using me only when you need me and chuck me aside by not caring about anyone else but yourself when you don't!! I get really irritated, ok? Thanks.

Yeah...finally watched the Snow Queen today. It really revives the musical interest I once had strongly once more in me. I really enjoyed all that singing and live orchestra. Hmm...so I do like music. There was one stage where I felt like giving up music forever because I thought I just didn't have that talent. I used to have this friend who joins piano competitions, not one mind you but several, in a year. And the best part is that I could have been like her. We both went for this NAPFA audition where they perform loads of test on you to see if you have a talent in it or not. And we both got it. Haha...thus began our strict and regular practice and lessons. Unfortunately, I gave it up half way because I hated that mean crude teacher who scolded me in Chinese all the time when I was only 5 years old! Ya..she kept pressurizing me till I developed a fear just attending her lessons. Sigh...I think from then on, piano lessons became sorta a strain. But well...Oh right...back to the Snow Queen. I thought the Pa crow was hilarious! He always had this 'supen-dous plan'...haha...and I think this musical only made me like the Snow Queen, who is supposedly evil and apparantly didn't look an eensy bitsey evil, even more. Anyway, it was girls' afternoon out. Nice to have Liling, Liling's sis, Alyssa, Amanda Wang and her sis for company. We had lunch at Burger Kings and proceeded with shopping. Whao...what a day.

Well, I finally realised how books come in handy when you have time to spare. Been buried in page after page this whole day till my eyes become so groggy, I promise I did see silver stars! Anyway, I was reading this really amusing book that has a fusion of both romance and horror. Interestingly so, it led me to my noble(morbid actually) discover about bloodsuckers as viewed above.
Haha...you see, mosquitoes and vampires are really quite similar in their functions. They leave one seriously anaemic and plague us, the victims, with erm, diseases. But this shows that size matters. doesn't it? I mean, with a sweep of our hands, we would have smacked these irritating mozzies and swiftly erm...kill them. But towards vampires of sorts, things aren't that simple. Afterall, they are of our size, of not bigger(you know the caucasians kind, yep). So humans are in their mercy.
So my conclusion is, it's not advisable to be dentists. Why? Because the only difference between a human and a vampire is their teeth. Like any vampire needs braces ofsomething..well, better be safe then sorry.

Today's probably the first time I've learnt to wash my shirt with hands, no doubt, a great sense of achievement. Eew, one thing I hate most is to come into contact with water (besides swimming and bathing). You can ask me to help out in any household chore but washing dishes and erm, clothes. Oh right, guess what I had for dinner?! You'll never believe it but it's OX-TAIL soup! Can you imagine that? Well, it's my first time tasting it too and it's delicious! Whoa, succulent and soft from the long hours of boiling. My mom's the best cook you can ever get. Haha...I can't help but think, I'm bound to get heavier and fatter by the end of this school holiday. Hey, Liling, we need to run.Hm...as I pondered this afternoon, it kinda dawned on me why the movie Oliver Twist has never been on my must-watch list. For it is written: 'Ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be open to you.' That's like one of the commonly used verses in the Bible. But what we have here is that when Oliver Twist asked with such caution and desperation, "Please Sir, can I have some more?", not only was he denied the very meal that would cast revulsion upon all our faces at the sight of it - gruel, he was beaten and punished for that mere request! Man, what is the world coming too!

Well, today is an exciting by itself. I was invited to my cousin's church. It was fantastic! I mean it's probably the first time I've ever experienced a hip worship and such focus on God Himself. It's like I hesitated at the start of the possibility of going to his church because I was told it's charismatic. Which means, the people speak in tongues and there is a chance of doing some queer stuff our church doesn't practice.
I think it was a wonderful experience. Warm people who aren't assertive yet concern, eager to get to know you more. I like it. It's nice to note that they care. I'm pretty surprised that my younger cousin actually raised her hand up and accepted Christ. I mean, wow, the pastor's message really touched her heart. I'm glad for her.
Anyway, threre was this part where the pastor told a story to convey his idea of miracles...haha...and I had fits. It's just funny. Here how it went: Once, a guy in JC was reading the Bible for the first time and was astounded by the wonderful message and stories. He was like ooh and ahh every minute. A teacher passed by and was curious. He asked: "What's so fasinating about that book? I mean, I've never seen you half as interested in my lectures."The boy replied: " Look, Moses parted the red sea with a word and God's grace rreached the people's hearts. Can you do that?""Well, you see," the teacher answered, "it was a period of drought then, so the sea was probably only about three inches high. Nothing difficult about that. " So he, convinced and confident of himself, he started to walk away. Then, to his surprise, the guy exclaimed "WOW!" The teacher queried, " Now, what is it this time?""The Bible said the Eygptians were drowned in that three inches high of the Red Sea! Now, that's what I call a miracle!"Now, as I reflect about the time when I lead worship as a team and was typically bothered by the older ones' comments, I can only feel guilt and awe for the worship lead by the team today. It actually consisted of 14 people! Wow, it's like so hard so coordinate the 4 of us, but what's more 14 people! And the worship was really well done. They were super prepared and in action. Each had an important role to play and performed it well without neglecting their own worship to God. I'm truly amazed. It's like if one really has the passion, it's not that difficult to achieve greater heights. Yep.
